Rare / Epic / Unique and Legend Codes

4. Rare and Epic Codes – some people ignore this method because it takes up too much inventory.

WHAT ARE CODES ?

Codes are used to reveal random hidden potentials on weapons armors and accessories. A specific code is required depending on an items class / Level and rarity. each type of code is further divided in rarity and level bracket.  Epic rarity gears require Epic Grade codes.

There are certain level brackets of codes: low grade – level 32 below items / intermediate – level 40 below items and high grade for level 60 below Items. These are easy enough to understand just ready their descriptions. Use codes by right clicking them(not in dungeon) then placing the item inside the box that pops up when you do.  As per the most recent patch revert cubes have been removed and codes now have the option to overwrite existing potentials or keep them if you decide the older potential is worth keeping. You can cancel the effect at the expense of gold which is not worth it most of the time. There is a cash item called potential extractor which will allow you to transfer potentials from one item to another given that they are of the same grade and level.

CODE CLASS / RARITY / LEVEL BRACKET

Crystal(purple) – Used on Primary and secondary weapons

Agate(green) – Used on armors

Diamond(white) – used on accessories. Rings, Necklace , Earrings

Rare (blue) – used on rare grade items

Epic (orange) – used on epic grade items

Unique (purple) – yada yada yada

LEVEL BRACKET

Low Grade – can be used for level 32 below items.

Intermediate – can be used for level 40 below items.

High Grade – can be used for level 60 below items.

Now that you understand codes you might be curious on how to turn them into gold.

Magic(green) and Rare(blue) codes can be traded so you just farm stacks of these codes and sell them at the TH or use them. The the most profitable among the Would be the Rare(blue) crystal codes. Rare(blue) agate codes can be profitable too as well as diamond codes but not as much as crystal codes.

Epic(orange) codes on the other hand need to be sealed before you can sell them. For me there are 2 ways of converting these into gold.

1 use the item on a sealed item and sell the item if it yields a good combination of hidden potentials. This is my most favorite method of disposing Epic rarity codes. because If it yields a good hidden potential you can sell it at just about the same price as it would if you sold the code when you seal it. and what’s great about this is you don’t have to use up stamps in the process which saves you a lot of time.

what happens to the items that get a bad hidden potential. you can either sell them at the same price you got them or keep applying codes to them until you get that perfect combination..

A decent combination is very straighforward depending on what your class specializes in.

Gladiators and Mercenaries require ATK and or Critical most of the time so their armors will need a set of combination of potentials as follows

rare – STR/HP

epic- STR/AGI/HP

unique – STR/AGI/HP/MP or VIT

legend – every other potential that i didnt mention yet. 🙂

PATK characters will need ATK on their weapons. and the hierarchy of potentials would be as follows.

ATK/STR/AGI/CRIT/MP – ofcourse number of potentials will vary depending on your weapon’s grade

Now if its a magician they will want to have maximum MATK which is just about the same as the above. Just replace the STR with Int and PATK with MATK.

to seal the item using incomplete seal stamp. this option is tedious and downright time consuming. You may also use Seal stamps to expedite the process but it slashes a big chuck to your profit since seal stamps are very costly in the TH. I would recommend using seal stamps on Epic Diamond codes or  Epic Crystal codes because they have the highest value among the three.  Sealing Diamond codes is the best way to use up incomplete stamps in my opinion. All other items are either too hard to seal or too hard to sell. wow that rhymes ^^
